The Casting Society of America introduced the winners of the thirty ninth annual Artios Awards, which honors “excellence in casting throughout function movie, tv, commercials and theatre.”
Winners within the movie classes embody Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon, Previous Lives and The Holdovers, whereas The Bear, Succession, Beef, Reservation Canine and The Final Of Us had been honored within the tv classes. Queer Eye, RuPaul’s Drag Race and A Black Woman Sketch Present additionally acquired wins.
Niecy Nash-Betts hosted the Los Angeles awards ceremony on the Beverly Hilton on Thursday, whereas the New York ceremony was hosted by Alex Edelman on the Edison Ballroom. The London ceremony was hosted by Samantha Morton on the White Metropolis Home.
Ava DuVernay was honored with the Lynn Stalmaster Award for Profession Achievement, which was offered by David Oyelowo. Sharon Klein, head of casting at Disney Leisure Tv, was honored with the Hoyt Bowers Award for Excellence in Casting. Disney Leisure co-chairman Dana Waldman offered it to Klein. The Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award was offered to The Drama E-book Store, and the Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award was offered to Karlee Fomalont by Rachel Brosnahan.
