Film films, the moment we have all been waiting has arrived! Today, Sept. 1 marks the first day of the sixth edition of the Saudi Film Festival.
This year, the much-loved festival will feature 54 national and international films.
In light of the current global pandemic, the event’s organizers, Culture and Arts Association in Dammam, have announced that the films will be available to stream live on the festival’s YouTube channel. Guests will also be able to access special talks and panel discussions with acclaimed filmmakers such as Lebanese director, Michel Kammoun, through the video streaming platform.

We cannot wait to see which films will be showcased at this year’s five day event. We are also particularly excited to see who will go home with a coveted award. This year, the four biggest categories are; Best Feature Film, Best Documentary Film, Best Student Film, and Best Script for Film Under Development. The winners will be announced on Sunday, Aug. 6.
