‘Carry It On’

“Six” presents the six wives of England’s King Henry VIII — “divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived,” because the saying goes — as rock icons and turns their experiences right into a rock live performance. Regional exhibition
A complete of 93 works by 67 Arkansas artists from 20 Northwest Arkansas cities make up the third annual “Our Artwork, Our Area, Our Time” exhibition, opening with a 6-8 p.m. reception Friday within the Pleasure Pratt Markham Gallery, Fayetteville’s Walton Arts Heart, 495 W. October air present
Little Rock Air Pressure Base in Jacksonville will host the Thunderbirds, the U.S. Air Pressure’s premier aerial demonstration workforce, for the 2023 Thunder Over the Rock air present, Oct. 21-22. Will probably be the primary time since 2018 that the bottom has opened its gates to the general public for an air present (covid-19 restrictions compelled cancellation of Thunder Over the Rock in 2020).
