MGM has premiered a second trailer for “Name Me By Your Identify” and “Suspiria” director Luca Guadagnino’s forthcoming sports activities romantic dramedy “Challengers”.
“Euphoria” and “Dune” star Zendaya performs Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a drive of nature who makes no apologies for her recreation on and off the court docket.
Married to a champion on a dropping streak, Tashi’s technique for her husband’s redemption takes a stunning flip when he should face off in opposition to the washed-up Patrick – his former greatest good friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend.
As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run excessive, Tashi should ask herself, what is going to it value to win. “West Facet Story” breakout Mike Faist will play the husband, while “God’s Nation” and “The Crown” star Josh O’Connor will play Patrick.
Guadagnino helms from a screenplay written by Justin Kuritzkes, and produces alongside Amy Pascal, while Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will do the rating for his new movie.
Guadagnino is coming off his cannibal drama “Bones and All” starring Timothee Chalamet. “Challengers” is scheduled to reach in theaters on September fifteenth.
