The 63-year-old head choose hit out on social media after viewers urged she and the remainder of the panel had been “deciding who wins” and have been prepared for West Finish star Layton Williams to elevate the Glitterball Trophy forward of Bobby Brazier and Ellie Leach.
Shirley had posted on X: “My remaining present of It Takes Two full @bbcstrictly now we simply look forward to the ultimate. Who’s excited? Xxx.(sic)”
In response, one person replied: “Not me as you and your judges have already determined who will win! Knowledgeable, dancing with an expert!!”
However the Latin knowledgeable shortly wrote again: “Thanks to your message. We as judges are solely to information within the remaining. Now we have no say on who will win. It’s utterly and completely right down to the general public vote.”
Shirley urged the disgruntled viewer to “decide up that cellphone” and forged a vote.
She added: “So I say decide up that cellphone Neil and vote as that’s what counts. Benefit from the present and have a wonderful day Xxx.”
Layton, who dances with Nikita Kuzmin, reposted Shirley’s reply with a yellow coronary heart emoji.
He then added: “What Shirley mentioned.”
Earlier this week, former ‘Strictly’ skilled dancer James Jordan admitted he was unimpressed with Layton collaborating within the present due to his background in dance and musical theatre.
He instructed Britain’s HELLO! journal: “Is that what ‘Strictly’ is meant to be. Is that what ‘Strictly’ has come to that we have now fully-trained dancers on the present? For me, it’s not what ‘Strictly’ is meant to be.”
