This initially premiered on the 2023 Toronto Movie Pageant final fall, then went on to play on the Cinéfest Sudbury Movie Pageant and likewise the Woodstock Movie Pageant. The movie follows the Polish nurse Irene Intestine Opdyke who was awarded the “Righteous Among the many Nations” medal for her outstanding braveness. After being promoted to housekeeper in a Nazi commandant’s home, she decides to shelter 12 Jewish individuals working there within the basement for years.
