Netflix has premiered the teaser trailer for the high-stakes journalism drama “Scoop” starring “The X-Information” and “The Fall” alum Gillian Anderson.
The characteristic goes into the story of how The BBC’s “Newsnight” program obtained November 2019’s bombshell interview which went into Prince Andrew’s friendship with convicted intercourse offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The challenge is alleged to be an inside account of the tenacious journalism that landed the earth-shattering interview which had such an affect that Andrew was banished from royal duties and was in absentia on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities.
It runs from the strain of producer Sam McAlister’s (Billie Piper) high-stakes negotiations with Buckingham Palace all the best way to reporter Emily Maitlis’ (Gillian Anderson) showdown with the Prince (Rufus Sewell) on digicam.
Keeley Hawes and Romola Garai co-star within the movie which hails from veteran TV director Phillip Martin (“Catherine the Nice,” “The Crown”). “Scoop” hits Netflix on April fifth.
