(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 24 – The house of author, translator, poet
and anti-Fascist partisan Joyce Lussu (8 Might 1912 – 4 November
1998) is on sale at Fermo in Marche and there are rising calls
for the state to purchase t and switch it right into a museum in her reminiscence.
The luxurious and historic villa at San Tommaso di Fermo, the place
the Florence-born author spent her holidays, was placed on the
property market a couple of days in the past.
“The household and all Joyce’s buddies wish to see this
residence turn into a specifically preserved home, a home-museum open
to all,” her biographer Silvia Ballestra informed ANSA.
“Let it turn into a discussion board to talk of peace”. (ANSA).
